The Captain's Cottage
The Captain’s Cottage is conveniently located between two marinas, near restaurants, 3 museums (including the Antique Boat Museum,) downtown Clayton, The Clayton Opera House, New York State Parks, and only a short drive to Alexandria Bay, Wellesley Island, Watertown, and Cape Vincent, NY. We can also help you arrange vacation activities like boat tours, spa packages, fishing charters, itineraries, or anything else you might have in mind.

You’ll find this private room on the second floor of the Chateau Country Inn near the common area. This pristine suite faces the north, with a beautiful view of the St. Lawrence River and its gorgeous sunsets.

The ABM’s collections hold over 320 unique boats and thousands of related artifacts and archives.
